HOUSE MARTINS

Every summer, House Martins return to Aberystwyth Harbour after a long migration from Sub-Saharan Africa. These remarkable birds fill the skies with their chatter and aerial acrobatics, feeding on tiny insects above the harbour and gathering mud from the exposed mudflats to build their distinctive nests beneath the eaves of the surrounding houses.
